Brian’s career in the trades began in 2010 when he left the mortgage industry to help his brother run an HVAC service company. At this point, Brian and two of his brothers all worked in the trades and were roommates. They were all immersed in the industry and there was a lot of “shop talk” around the table. His dad and third brother later joined the HVAC company as well, and it became a family business. Being surrounded by family and friends who shared a passion for the trades encouraged him to continue pursuing this career path.

He then continued to develop his career in the trades by branching into plumbing. His family’s company later merged with Stan’s in 2019, and Brian took on the role of Vice President of Plumbing. Throughout his career in the trades, he has had the pleasure of working with all three of his brothers and his dad. He enjoys working in the service industry because he has the opportunity to serve hundreds of customers every week.

Working in the mortgage industry allowed him to help people make their dreams of homeownership, and he built a deep understanding of the importance of maintaining your home's systems. Now, he gets to support homeowners daily in understanding how to best care for the plumbing systems in their homes. He takes pride in helping the team grow in their trade and helping his plumbers reach their full potential.

Stan’s has provided him opportunities to grow personally, and every day he has the chance to learn something new. In his free time, Brian enjoys boating and fishing on local lakes around Austin. He also likes the nostalgia of playing video games with his kids.

Johnny has been in the Plumbing Industry for over 21 years. His plumbing career began in Midland, TX where he dug trenches as an apprentice. A few years later, he moved to San Marcos and began working in new construction plumbing. In 2009, he became a licensed Journeyman Plumber. To reach one of his goals to move into a Supervisor position, a mentor advised him to get his hands in every aspect of plumbing, and that’s exactly what he did. After obtaining his Journeyman license, he spent a few years working in every area of plumbing and became a jack of all trades.

He worked in new construction, residential service, and commercial service plumbing before joining the team at Stan’s in 2019. A year later, he was given the Plumber Supervisor position. Johnny enjoys a challenge and takes pride in being able to solve plumbing issues that others cannot. In his free time, he enjoys leatherworking, saltwater fishing, and taking his metal detector down to the river.

Brandon’s dad was a Master plumber, so he has been exposed to the industry for as long as he can remember. In the summer of 1997, before serving in the United States Marine Corps, Brandon began his plumbing career and worked with his dad doing industrial pipe fitting and plumbing. After serving in the Marines, Brandon was offered a position at the same company he started with in 1997. He spent several years with them, worked his way up, and became a Journeyman Plumber. In 2007, Brandon became a Master Plumber and worked at a school district for several years before starting his own plumbing company. Two of his brothers came to work with him and then they merged with their cousin’s service company. That company later merged with Stan’s, and Brandon now serves as Stan’s Responsible Master Plumber. He plays a critical role in the training, mentoring, and consulting of our plumbers.

He also keeps the department up to date on new technology, and assists with problem solving, trouble shooting, and backflow testing. Growing up seeing his dad’s success in the industry encouraged him to build a career in plumbing as well. Two of his brothers are also in the industry, and one owns a plumbing service company in Celina, TX. Brandon holds many plumbing licenses, endorsements, and certifications including Master Plumber license, Water Supply Protection Specialist, Backflow Testers Certification, Landscape Irrigators License, Landscape Irrigation Inspectors license, and an EPA Universal. His area of expertise is cross-connection control, which has to do with backflows, water protection, and harvesting rainwater. Brandon takes pride in watching apprentices grow and work their way up, just as he did, and keeping up with the new technology in the industry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, hunting, fishing, and golf.
