Family Meals & Holiday Cheer

At Stan’s, we love giving back to the local community of Austin, especially to those in need. That’s why this Fall, we partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank to provide nutritious and delicious meals to local families during this busy time of year. As a result of hundreds of generous customer donations, as well as our own matching donation of up to $5,000, we were able to provide over 40,000 meals to families in need! We love helping families, and we’re extremely grateful for everyone who participated.

To help Austin families and their loved ones, we hope you’ll consider donating to the local Central Texas Food Bank this holiday season! It’s a fantastic and easy way to help spread some holiday cheer in the Austin Area.

Austin HVAC Giveaway

At Stan’s, we take pride not only in quality products and services, but in being a local, family-run business for more than 65 years. That’s one of the reasons why we love giving back to the local community, and regularly find ways to do so. This summer, we ran a contest to give away a FREE HVAC system to a local family, and the Lockerman family—a friendly pair from central Austin—won! We sincerely hope they’re as happy with their new system as we were providing it.

Operation Finally Home

Operation Finally Home builds hope by providing mortgage-free homes to wounded, ill, and injured military veterans, first responders and their families in honor of their service and sacrifice to their country and community. We had the honor of partnering with Operation Finally Home to provide the HVAC materials and labor for a new home being given to a local veteran in early 2023. In September of 2022, we had the opportunity to write encouraging notes on the frame of the home that will be gifted to the honoree and their family.

HVAC System Giveaway

At Stan’s we take pride not only in quality products and services, but in being locally owned and operated for more than 65 years. That’s one of the reasons why we love giving back to the local community, and regularly find ways to do so. In the summer of 2022, we hosted a giveaway for a free HVAC system. We selected a winner at random from the Austin community! This was a really fun opportunity for us to give back directly to our customers.

Heat the Town

We are grateful to have the opportunity each year to come together with other local HVAC companies to give the gift of warmth to families in the Austin area. Heat the Town is an initiative with TACCA Greater Austin that provides brand new heating and cooling systems to families who are in dire need. Our VP of Replacement has served on the board of two chapters of TACCA for over a decade, which has opened many doors for us to give back to the community.

Food Drive

In the summer of 2022, we had the opportunity to partner with Central Texas Food Bank to host a food drive for the Austin community. We invited our customers to join us in giving back. Our field team collected donations during scheduled appointments, and many of our employees brought in donations as well. As a company, we matched all donations received! Food banks in our community struggle to stay stocked during the summer, so this was a great way to help our neighbors keep meals on the table. We look forward to another opportunity to partner with our local food bank!

Magdalene House

The Magdalene House provides long-term, holistic care for adult survivors of sex trafficking in the Austin area. As the first long-term residential program in central Texas, Magdalene House offers a live in community that empowers survivors to create an independent and vibrant future. Survivors live in a residential community rent-free for two years with basic needs provided, as well as job training, education, community and support. We had the privileged of working with Brookfield Properties to install Mitsubishi mini splits in the homes for survivors. We are so honored to have been given the opportunity to give back to such an incredible organization.

Brown Santa

During the holiday season we collect toys and canned good donations for Travis County Sheriff’s Brown Santa program that provides assistance to local children and families in need. We enjoy partnering with them during the holiday season to provide presents for children that may not otherwise receive them. This is a great opportunity for the entire company to come together and give back to the community.
