Building Performance Technician

Job Title: Building Performance Technician (In need of leads and apprentices willing to train on the job)
Work Hours: Full time
Salary Range: $20.00 to $25.00 an hour to start, plus benefits (401K, health insurance, life insurance, dental & vision) with possibility for growth through the company
Department: Building Performance
Reports to: Building Performance Manager

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
  • Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
  • Operate company vehicle as needed
  • Keep service vehicle clean, stocked and organized
  • Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Complete all building performance forms properly
  • Complete all building performance measures approved by the customer
  • Perform the following technical duties:
  • Ability to perform building performance measures on a variety of residential and some small commercial applications without supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret duct designs and room to room air flows
  • Ability to install ductwork properly
  • Ability to learn how to blow insulation at the correct depth and level
  • Ability to learn how to properly weather strip an exterior door
  • Service tools and testing equipment
  • Ability to resolve any change on site during installation
  • Must be able to keep a clean work environment inside and outside the residence
  • Provide all customers with completed checklist and invoice for payment
  • Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
  • Ability to work some Saturdays (summer months)
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Building Performance of HVAC equipment
  • Demonstrate willingness to invest time in building performance training and classes
  • Work from 28′ extension ladder and 12′ step ladder
  • Demonstrate customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers

Service Technician

Job Title: Service Technician
Work Hours: Full time
Salary Range: Up to 95K/YR
Department: Service Department
Reports to: Service Manager

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
  • Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
  • Operate company vehicle as needed
  • Follow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in timely manner
  • Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Complete all service related forms properly
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial equipment, present repair and replacement options.
  • Complete service repairs as approved by customer
  • Perform the following technical duties:
  • Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential and light commercial equipment without supervision
  • Electrical and refrigeration principles
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
  • Service tools and testing devices
  • Ability to diagnose most residential & light commercial system problems, recommend and perform repairs
  • Provide all customers with new / renewal maintenance agreement program information
  • Acquire residential planned maintenance agreements
  • Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
  • Inform customer of replacement options following company guidelines
  • Ability to work staggered schedule if required
  • On call status for emergency service as required
  • Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment with minimal assistance and supervision

Service Dispatcher

Job Title: Service Dispatcher

Work Hours: Full Time, M-F with rotating Saturdays

Salary Range: $15.00 – $18.00 Hourly Rate

Department: Service Department

Reports to: Service Manager

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop routes for Technicians by creating dispatch tickets for all service calls
  • Dispatch Technicians from home to first call and maintain contact with technicians throughout the day one call at a time
  • Take incoming customer calls and meet customer scheduling needs
  • Maintain the dispatch board /schedule
  • Forecast workload for future work
  • Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
  • Make calls to responsible party regarding invoices
  • Respond to all messages left overnight
  • Maintain the maintenance agreements, including billing, scheduling, and staging of materials, database information, customer hard files and renewals
  • Complete service agreements for new customers
  • Maintain customer history files in database
  • Update service database from service ticket
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of procedures involved in dispatching customer service

Required Qualifications

  • Experience working in HVAC or similar industry
  • One year of dispatch experience
  • One year of customer service experience
  • Experience responding to phone and email inquiries from internal and external customers, answering customer requests and inquiries regarding services
  • Database or software experience, including data entry and researching customer account information
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, rotating Saturday shifts, and holidays

We are seeking professional, hardworking, honest, and responsible plumbers to join our growing team and to have the ability to troubleshoot service issues and serve our customers with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Required Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a Tradesperson or higher Plumbers license

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Pass a background check and drug screening prior to hire

• Must have at least 2 years residential plumbing service/repair experience

• Must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with coworkers

• Must attend weekly meetings/training at the office and work on an ON-CALL rotation
