Service Technician
Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
- Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
- Operate company vehicle as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatcher and carry out in timely manner
- Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Complete all service related forms properly
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and light commercial equipment, present repair and replacement options.
- Complete service repairs as approved by customer
- Perform the following technical duties:
- Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential and light commercial equipment without supervision
- Electrical and refrigeration principles
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Service tools and testing devices
- Ability to diagnose most residential & light commercial system problems, recommend and perform repairs
- Provide all customers with new / renewal maintenance agreement program information
- Acquire residential planned maintenance agreements
- Inform and educate customers on additional products or services available through company
- Inform customer of replacement options following company guidelines
- Ability to work staggered schedule if required
- On call status for emergency service as required
- Ability to perform routine preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment with minimal assistance and supervision

Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License
- Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in Service of HVAC equipment
- Demonstrate willingness to invest time in service training seminars and classes
- Work from 28′ extension ladder and 12′ step ladder
- Understand and communicate benefits of preventative maintenance
- Demonstrate customer service skills and have ability to communicate clearly, ideas and explanations of problems to customers and coworkers
- Working toward acquiring NATE certification
Service Dispatcher
Job Title: Service Dispatcher
Work Hours: Full Time, M-F with rotating Saturdays
Salary Range: $15.00 – $18.00 Hourly Rate

Reports to: Service Manager
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop routes for Technicians by creating dispatch tickets for all service calls
- Dispatch Technicians from home to first call and maintain contact with technicians throughout the day one call at a time
- Take incoming customer calls and meet customer scheduling needs
- Maintain the dispatch board /schedule
- Forecast workload for future work
- Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce the stress that comes with last minute schedule changes
- Make calls to responsible party regarding invoices
- Respond to all messages left overnight
- Maintain the maintenance agreements, including billing, scheduling, and staging of materials, database information, customer hard files and renewals
- Complete service agreements for new customers
- Maintain customer history files in database
- Update service database from service ticket
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Experience working in HVAC or similar industry
- One year of dispatch experience
- One year of customer service experience
- Experience responding to phone and email inquiries from internal and external customers, answering customer requests and inquiries regarding services
- Database or software experience, including data entry and researching customer account information
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional evenings, rotating Saturday shifts, and holidays
