Replacement Services

Stan’s offers complete replacement services for residential and commercial equipment. We can help you evaluate your home, system and existing equipment to see if they are where they should be in terms of efficiency. We offer finance programs, rebates (most of the year) and we are registered members and participants in a variety of Austin Energy programs.

Not sure if your system needs updating? Please ask your self the following questions:

Are you looking into remodeling your home or just adding a small room, enclosing a garage or porch?

Our staff can help with your decision to replace all or part of any existing system:

For replacement on a condenser or furnace only, the system will need to evaluated to see how the combination of old and new equipment will operate

Many systems can be made to work more efficiently with some modifications:

Add an air return
Sealing duct work
Re-hanging duct work
Air balancing

If your home seems to always be humid, running load calculations for your home could help to see if the equipment is the right size for your size home.

If you are an Austin Energy customer read below to see some of the programs offered to help you conserve energy and live more comfortably.

Austin Energy
High utility bills are usually more than just the equipment. Stan's Heating & Air Conditioning is a City of Austin approved Contractor for whole house audits, and is involved in the City of Austin’s Duct Diagnostic Program.

To participate, you must be an Austin Energy customer. If you are not an Austin Energy customer we can still perform the same services however the cost will different.

Whole House Audits
Whole house audits are free visual inspections of the following:

HVAC System
Duct Work
Attic Insulation
Check if you need solar screens
Check if you outer doors need weather stripping

After our inspection we will give you a written proposal letting you know what it would cost to make your home more efficient.

City of Austin’s Duct Diagnostic Program
This program is a $50 per system cost and involves performing several tests to determine the following:

The amount of leakage in your duct system
If duct work is sized properly. The most efficient system on the market may be the least efficient system if installed with the wrong size duct work.

After all tests are completed, the technician will give a written proposal for what it would cost to correct all issues that have been identified.
